Welcome to your home away from home on the Magic Island!
We are proudly the first Backpackers in Floripa, opened since 2003 by father and son Australians that traveled all over the world and found Floripa to set up the hostel and bring their knowledge of the business to the Magic Island!
Now owed and runned by Brazilian with local and international staff ready to provide an intimate experience for all your needs in a fun, safe and laid back atmosphere!
Located on Unique spot at the beach front of Barra da Lagoa, a fishing village, surrounded by nature and a small town with services like restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, public transportation 30m from us . Crossing the bridge in the canal, to the left, there lays the castle of the Backpackers share House, overlooking Barra da Lagoa Beach
Good waves, clear water and tropical rainforest all around makes Barra da Lagoa the kind of place you can easily loose track of time! You can spend the afternoon fishing with the locals or explore trails that lead to natural pools and stunning sightseeing spots, simply relax and enjoy the sunset from Prainha, an almost private beach just two minutes away from us…
We are perfect for any kind of traveler; for those that are easy going, enjoy outdoor activities, meet cool people and of course, PARTY! A bus ride to popular surf beaches like Moçambique, Mole and Joaquina and to the night life of Lagoa da Conceição. We have 48 beds, including renewed double rooms, triple and 6, 8, 9 and 10 beds dorms, all with ceiling fan, lockers and 80% of them with ocean view!!!
Our outdoor terraces offer you the best views to enjoy the sunset, read a book, lay in the hammock, get a tan…The bar and dinner area are perfect social areas to enjoy our meals and Caipirinha O’clock with the other Backpackers. An exit to the canal where you can go explore the lake kayaking (Its FREE from here) or get short cut to the surf.
