staff are really nice \nbut they don`t clean the dorm everyday \nthe location have 5-10 mins walks to bus stop \nreally noisy in the first floor \nthe internet from 7-19 sucks

I stayed Melbourne Nomad hostel in September 2013. \nGood location very very close by Victoria food marketplace.

The bar downstairs was lively and sociable! However the room was not up to scratch - very few powerpoints, the bathroom was out of order so had to trapse past reception to go to the toilet and the floor looked liked it hadn't been hooved in about a week. Sorry, but in comnparison to other hostels it was a let down and not great value for money.

Dear Nomads, \n \nThank you a lot for hospitality. You are great hostle and if somebody of my friend would travel to AU-Melbourne - I would recommend you. \nBut \n1) I really didn't like the cleanness of bed linen. It wasn't fresh. \nSuppose that I won't mention this in rates of your hostel but I ordered de-lixe double room, so suppose that bed linen could be clearer ... \n2) I rated securaty as "3" because we left our laggage after checking out and went for walking. When we returned and asked for a key - we received it but nobody asked us who we were. \nGirls on the reception couldn't remember us because we stayed for a night only and they hadn't saw us before. \nSo anyone can come in, ask for a key from laggage room and take somebody's bag.

the bar was very noisy in the night, the quality of traveler was so bad as I ever met.

  6. Annika From Germany On November 30, -0001

The staff at the reception was very slow when you want to check in or check out. I had to change the room and the woman at the reception was very unfrindly. \n \nThe rooms were okay. The light in the 14-share-dorm was broken so we had to take a shower in the darkness or go on another level. \n \nThe 8-share-dorm was better and we have had more toilets and more showers...

hostel was ok, however there were extra people sleeping in the dorm room three of the four nights. be prepared for lots of 20 year old stumbling in at 4am... and their messy clothes all over the room. staff was helpful throughout and the hostel was quite clean throughout.

We were in a room with an 80 year old person, isn't it suppossed to be a youth hostel?
