Info & Description

the best rated travellers hostel in spain. stay with us in granada and rediscover the art of 'backpacking'.

The Oasis Hostel in Granada is where the now “famous” Oasis concept of hospitality began. When we opened Granada almost 10 years ago we started with one main belief. Traveling is fun, meeting people is essential and really feeling like you got to know a city through its smells, sounds, people, food, alcohol and culture are the only things that matter. While the world has gotten faster and faster and shinny new hostels open everyday offering you something you can find wherever you came from, Oasis Backpackers Hostel in Granada is still the place where time slows down for true travellers. Oasis is still the place other hostels copy. Oasis Hostel is where time slows down just enough to feel what it would be like to actually live in Granada and not just stay in it. Where time slows down just enough to linger over a jar of Sangria while watching the sunset over the Alhambra on our rooftop terrace.

At Oasis we still believe in the concept of the hostel. A hostel is a reflection of the city. Whether it's our location in the historic city center of Granada, our free street art tours, exploring of the Flamenco filled Sacromonte, our cheap and always active in house bar or our nightly outing for a sampling of the city’s best tapas at Oasis Hostel you will experience Granada.

We also believe, that besides having cheap beds, free-wifi, clean rooms and common spaces a hostel should be social. In Granada with our bar, dinners and special events we go out of our way to make sure that we are the place to meet other interesting travelers with whom to share your experiences with and if sometimes you wake up with a hangover as a token of our hospitality, all the better.

Very good location and fairly social. Can be a bit noisy even though the staff is supposed to shut things down at midnight. Private rooms are nice.

The structure is beautiful, an arabic house with the central patio, the position perfect, the rooms nice and all with private bathroom, the staff young and friendly, the atmosphere very friendly and relaxed; a bit expensive to be an hostel. Recommenddd!

This was an AWESOME hostel! I stayed in one of the girls rooms and had a blast! It was the nicest hostel I´ve ever stayed at. Really easy to get to and right in the middle of everything. I loved it so much I will be staying at the Oasis in Malaga in the hopes of a similar experience.

Couldn't ask for more in a hostel. A first time hostel goers, we were nervous as to what was ahead. The hostel was fun, comfortable and in a great location. It exceeded all expectations.

Oasis Granada is perfect! There are a lot of common rooms, a lot of good free walking tours, a cave tour and they are in the middle of the most beautiful area of Granada (Albaycin). The staff was very friendly also, serious great!

I really liked the hostel, as you can see in the ratings. Very centrally located, lively, clean. But, I also visited my friend's hostel and I found their staff extremely helpful and friendly compared to at Oasis. If you could work on it, Oasis is a 10 on 10. I already recommended it to my friends. I am from Nepal and one night stay in Oasis has inspired me to start something just like this back home because we have a lot of backpackers foreigners coming to climb the mountains but no hostels, or maybe not good ones like this. Let's see what happens in the future. :)
