Welcome to CENTRAL HOSTEL a modern villa with a spacious garden area . The hostel was restracted and opened again in spring 2007 with new italian manegement .We have 34 beds in rooms which accomodate between 2 and 8 people.
The hostel is situated in the middle of Bucarest next to 'PIATA GEMENII' square, near to food markets, restaurants, and clubs. It has the best position to reach all the connections to get in any place of the city.
With our 24 HOUR RECEPTION, there are young and friendly staff that will be happy to assist you with anything you may need. Also there is no curfew.
You can cook what you like in our fully equipped kitchen and have breakfast or dinner outside in OUR SPACIOUS GARDEN AREA , read under the shade, ....relax !!!!

    About our opinion in relation to the Central Hostel, it has been embarrassing because the same day that we arrived to Bucarest, after the taxi driver left us at the entrance of the hostel, it was a surprise for us to find that the hostel was closed and there wasn’t anybody, losing for that reason our booking which had been booked weeks ago for 10 Euros. Therefore, we had to look for another hostel in the evening, in the night and in a place unknown for us. Furthermore, the rest of the hostels and hotels were too expensive. We were luck because we found a hostel near to this one, about 10 min, it’s called Doors hostel. We only can say good things about this hostel, we had a good experience there, good service, cleaned, in good conditions and a good price, it was only 10 Euros too. So, we recommend to everybody who goes to Bucarest, the idea of booking this hostel and reject the idea of booking the first one “Central Hostel” because it was a really bad experience.

    This is a really nice place, perhaps a bit far from downtown but it's not really a problem. The staff was really friendly and the hostel wasn't noisy. For the price, it's perfect, even if the breakfast (include) is just a bit "light".

    Negative aspect: Only 3 toilets, 2 of them could not be locked; not enough toilet paper on stock. Positive: Safe place! Nice outdoor area!

    We only stayed here for one night during our trip but it was perfect for our budget needs.We were able to store our luggage and go sightseeing in Bucharest,the centre was a 20min walk away or a short bus journey.Staff were very friendly and helpul, onhand 24hrs.Clean facilities and a quiet, good value place to stay.

    The rooms next the reception aren't good because this hostel is very noisy and you can't sleep very well.

    Nice quiet side street but really close to central Bucharest. however, this is just a place for sleeping and taking a shower; if you're after something a bit more memorable, go elsewhere.
