Casa Sol e Lua is a luxury chateau on a hillside in an unspoiled part of Portugal's beautiful Algarve. Accessible to many beaches and to Faro airport Casa Sol e Lua provides a unique holiday opportunity for luxury and fun. Bed & Breakfast clients can also purchase spa packages which include massages or facials provided by our highly qualified and experienced esthetician and massage therapists.

We also run personal, corporate and couples coaching courses (generally 2 or 3 days) more information can be found under Courses & Activities on our web site. There are dozens of golf courses within 45 minutes drive both in Portugal and Spain and Seville is only two hours drive away. The ancient walled towns in the Alentejo to the north, which are also easily reached for a day trip making Casa Sol e Lua an ideal base for your holiday. You can, of course, just relax beside our spacious pool and deck and enjoy some of the most magnificent views in Europe.

Casa Sol e Lua offers three double rooms each with its own private bathroom and balcony/sitting area. The larger of these rooms, the sunset room, can accommodate an additional two single beds. An additional room adjacent to our Poolside Suite can also accommodate two single beds. There are many pieces of custom artwork inside the house and around the grounds, and there are many secluded sitting areas for those just wishing for peace and quiet.

Breakfasts at Sol e Lua are generous and typically feature smoked salmon, apple strudel and a selection of meats and cheeses along with coffee or an extensive choice of teas.

Whether you you want an active vacation involving horse riding, golf or water sports or you just want to relax and unwind Casa Sol e Lua will offer you what you need. We do whatever we can to accommodate our clients special needs, unfortunately, however, this is not suitable for the disabled who cannot negotiate stairs and steps.
