You will not find a more fun hostel. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. When we arrived they sat down with a map and told us where was good to visit. When we were out on trips they gave us an apple and some sweets for the trip and same when we left. There is free WiFi and a funky garden with a lucky fountain. \nHave been travelling and tried lots of hostels this is by FAR my favourite so far :o)

Elephant on the Moon Hostel is the best hostel I was staying in during my trip. \n \nHostel is located on Salwator – I think one of the most beautiful areas in Krakow. It's about 3 minutes walk from the tram terminal which makes it really easy to get wherever you want. A 15 minute walk in to the old town and the walk along the river to get there provides beautiful scenery for a Wawel Castle. \n \nThe rooms are fantastic and incredibly clean. Bathroom is shared with everyone but it is worth it – the mirror in the shower is fantastic. \n \nKitchen is small but full of free 24 hours available food and non-alkohol drinks. \n \nSitting area provides TV, DVD movies, games, bookcrossing, which is a kind of library where you can leave book you have already read and take one in return. There is also an internet free of charge. You can find there 24 hour open shop Under the two goldfish that have fallen in love and adopted the tip-loving Long John, which provide you stamps, postcards, traditional gifts from Krakow and any other products usefull at the moment. \n \nIn hostel there is a beautifull garden. You can sit in a comfortable armchair and do nothing – just feel the local atmosphere. In the garden there is also a spring – wather, where you can put money and – according to Greg`s story - it will bring you good luck for the rest of your trip. Aga says that it will drive off bad weather. \n \nLike in every other hostels they offer you free breakfast but in Elephant on the Moon breakfast is huge! They offer you 3 types of cornflakes, variety of cottage cheese, jams, honey, butter, pâté, tradicional polish bread... \n \nIn hostel there is also free car parking, free linen and towels. There is no curfew or lockouts – every guests has his own key and can came back any time thay want. \n \nBut what's the best in this hostel is a staff. Very welcoming, creative, friendly & multilingual, and if you speak the language they don't know there is always sign and picturial languages in which they are very fluent as well ;). \n \nThey really know the most interesting places in Krakow, the best to eat and the best bars, and if you want to go clubbing they know the wildest clubs. \nElephant on the Moon is just like they say – the best place to simply relax and enjoy you holiday.
