Great location : 3 vaporetto stops away from the center of Venise. Good value.

Fantastic hostel in One of the better place in the world! There's not air conditioning but the room was clean in a very quiet area !!!

Ok room. The toilet brush was disgusting!

Excellent. If you're a traveller and it's a hostel you want, this is perfect.

Overall an ok stay. Unfortunately there is no community vibe to this hostel making it difficult as a solo traveller to meet other like minded people. Considering the heat wave during the summer months, more fans should be provided in the rooms for guests.

Hostel has a good location, if you're going to buy pass for boat (then it's about 20 minutes with amazing view for reaching main island). The island where hostel is located has own special atmosphere. It is also more quiet and there are no so many tourists. Nearby there are shops, bakery and cafes. Hostel is clean. Staff are really kind and helpful.

Perfect place. Good value for money. Staff is most helpful and charming. Come back next year.

I LOVE OSTELLO JAN PALACH!!!!!!!!!

Staff was not very helpful and hardly on the spot. Room smelled, too hot and just one fan. Room, showers and restrooms weren't cleaned the whole time. Showers were horrible and the kitchen, too. The whole hostel is a mess and not very appealing. I wouldn't recommend it for the price.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time! great location,very nice people and very cheap. 100m away from a cheap supermarket. would 100% recommend for someone who wants to travel low budget but still close to the city centre.

I wanted to love this hostel the staff were friendly it had good facilities kitchen wise and was ideally located being just a short ride across to marks square, however their is no getting away from fact this place was a bit dirty the bed were clean but rooms smelt unpleasant and we found a pile of dirty washing in corner. However it is a good price and if your looking for cheap option and not to bothered about being somewhere a bit untidy it's a good place to go

Really liked the Hostel, it was exceptionally good for the price. Its really near to the Rendetore ACTV station. There where local students working in the Hostel which we spend the evening with.

i can higlhy recommend Jan Palach - the location is unique, the rooims clean and the staff very freindly. Lydia

The hostel is very well located and the staff is very nice and helpfull. We had a great time talking with them. The only negative point is the bathrooms (we were in the ground floor). There is only a light and little curtain that isolate the showers even if it is mixed (boys and girls) and no private space to keep clothes and towel dry. Besides it, no space to put soap and shampoo and some shower are a little broken.

Very friendly place! Relaxed atmosphere, clean, friendly staff. Quiet located, but only two boatstops from saint Marco. And lovely view from the front of the hotel towards the opposite islands.

The receptionists are very efficient and welcoming. Very good and reliable commincation before my stay. Room (stanza singola) very nice and clean, perfect. when I was there respectful and silent people during the night. Maybe (?) more difficult in shared rooms, eventually the heat could be a problem there...to check...But..The GUESTs must definetly better clean what they used in the kitchen because its students who live there cleaning it.
