The 'Alla Stazione' guesthouse opened in October 2008 and is located in an old building protected by the Belle Arti opposite Trieste railway station, several bus terminal and 400m from Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia.

Alla Stazione Guesthouse is also near the Silos car parking, the Ronchi airport bus terminal and the coach services in and outside Trieste and to many European destinations. The beach is only at 10 minutes by bus and it is possible to walk to any part of Trieste historical centre to enjoy the many cultural, commercial and gastronomic offers.

The Alla Stazione guesthouse has 5 rooms: 1 single, 2 double, 1 triple and 1 quadruple.

All the rooms are very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view over Piazza della Libertà (single room have not view), TV in all rooms.WI-FE free.
Rooms are beautifully furnished and well equipped.
There is konditioner in3 rooms.
There are 3 comfortable bathrooms in common use.

If you want to have an exclusive bathroom for your room, you have to contact us after the booking and reserve it (it will cost an extra of 10€ per night; 20€ per night for the singl room).



Croatian, English, Italian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian languages are spoken. The familiar atmosphere offers high quality services and will make your stay in the beautiful town of Trieste a very enjoyable one.

    The rooms are really large and friendly, bathrooms were clean and ok. The Staff however was not really nice, and especially the owner was very suspicious

    The place is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a lift and the location is very centric. Just for a short stay, it is OK.

    Place with all you need for some days, maybe an atmosphere a bit cold and no map of the city!

    Location is not suitable for single female travellers or families with children! Its not a hotel but an appartment in an appartment house near the station where a couple rents out the rooms, but owners left after renting all rooms. One of the shared bathrooms was smelling badly, the other one couldn´t be locked from inside. We were charged the hostelworld prepayment again, bring a receipt with you! Overpriced, would be o.k for 30€/night. If you are male and look for a place near the station where you can just sleep and leave early, its ok. 15 min walking to town centre.

    It was a clean place with a friendly staff. We were satified with everything. The only small problem was that they cuoldn'speak englis well..

    It was great place to stay in Trieste. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room and bathrooms were clean, position of the hostel is very good. Beds were made every morning and all the things neatly put on their places. Only thing to complain about was traffic noise early in the morning due to main street near by and windows opened.

    Friendly staff let me check in at 12:20 p.m., which I greatly appreciated. Convenient walkable location near train station, great atmospheric old building. (If the hallway or lobby is ever dark, just remember to turn on the light.) Comfortable room with nice view; I slept great here.

    Secure, clean, basic accommadtion close to the train and bus stations. At 55euros for a twin room without bath or breakfast, its overpriced for what you get. Although clean, decoration is of a poor standard. Noisy in the morning.
