I really enjoyed my stay in Rome. The room was only for sleeping, so everything was ok :)I hope i'll come back soon to Walter Guest House, it's cosy ;)
The receptionist barely spoke english, was hard to understand and rude. Extremely dirty bathroom and kitchen plus it was difficult to cook there. Only could pay in cash or via PayPal (he didn’t know how that works). We were focussed on leaving asap!
The female dorm has no window and therefore it is a bit difficult to sleep with multiple people in there and get enough air. Also you can’t lock the doors. We didn’t feel safe and decided to not spend the night there. The common place is right next to the „reception“ and feels a bit crammed.
It was quite dirty and could use much renovation. THe bathrooms were without towels and were very dirty
like a prison
Awful place. Smell was terrible and the room was dirty. We even had windows in our room (some people hadn't), but the view was on slums (People in the opposote flats were very poor). Neigbourhood is full of homeless People. In reservation, there was info about free breakfast, that of course wasn't there.
Very heartful place, friendly service, good quality for price. Ask for backyard room, since it is located at a noisy street.
Great location near the train station. Hostel is a bit crowded but good value for staying in Rome for 1 or 2 nights.
Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful, it''s also so near from Termini station from which you can easily reach many tourism locations. highly recommend anothers.
I'm Pedro from Spain and my wife and me we went there from 21 until 27 of March. The hostel was a lovely place with lovely and friendly staff. hostel near the train station and near to the main places to visit, also was in the center of the city it couldn't be better.
This was my last-minute reservation because of certain circumstances, and I couldn't expect much. The experience was fine, but I can't rate this B&B high. The location is not so far from Colosseum, I like walking and some 20 minutes by foot is not a problem at all. But the location... it could have been a nice place, but it's not, and Walter is not guilty of it, of course :) Termini, though convenient due to nearby train and bus stations, is not a trouble-free district with some suspicious people around and malodorous public garden. You can find some cheap food around, but there're many people you can get scared of, they look like thieves and some of them probably are. What about the guest house, the staff is grumpy, and it seems they want money for every advice. The breakfast is usual, and the room I've been with my boyfriend is a funny story. We couldn't help laughing when they were transforming "a more expensive room" into a cheaper one for us, lol. A big bed with a red coverlet turned into two small beds in different corners of the room. They said two more people will stay with us and they didn’t come, which was a pleasant surprise ‘cause the room became private instead of shared. While every hostel should have its own face and temperament, I didn’t like the general atmosphere, it didn’t evoke emotions – so I was neither disappointed nor excited.
The stay is not at the same place with reception, you will need to walk to another block. Breakfast, coffee machine is included. Shower water will accumulate, drain stuck
perfect!location and service!!!!!
very nice place, we will back again. Walter thanks for all
The toilette is not very comfortable, but the room has a great value for the money.
A good location, safe area. Easy walking to and from station and local sites. Bedrooms clean and tidy. Staff reasonably friendly. Would recommend as one of the cheapest sleeps in Rome!
The room we stayed in was nice, but it was not at the address it was meant to be. Upon arrival, we had to follow another man for about 10 minutes with our luggage to get to the location of our room. Staff was not very friendly, although they did improve with time of stay. Convenient to have breakfast included and a location near the bus terminal, but not recommended overall due to lack of staff understanding and care.
it was a small place. Except for our room was really small and there were no windows, it was good because there were air conditioners and fans
It's nice hostel. Good breakfast, service, personal. But it's very small room and only 1 WC room for many people(
A good location, safe area. Easy walking to and from station and local sites. Bedrooms clean and tidy but bathroom could do with a spring clean. Staff reasonably friendly. Would recommend as one of the cheapest sleeps in Rome!
