the Hotel Ancora is centrally located but at the same time in a quiet place, directly in front of the lake. All comforts are available such as: rooms supplied with private WC, shower, aircondition, satellite TV,. sate, lift and parking place. The 24 hour guarded parking is available from April until October and it is € 6,00 per day. in the other time is it possible to park free throughout the village. The hotel has also a bar and a restaurant, pizzeria with all the best local food specialities. In the summer season the restaurant and pizzeria closed at 10.15 pm and in the other time closed earlier about 6.30 pm or 7 pm.

    Very very good and at the same time not so expensive hotel. Very good location, right in front of the lake, friendly personnel. Quite good breakfast. I liked everything there and fell in love with Garda itself.

    Staff was very unfriendly throughout the stay, and could not count the total sum at checkout properly (reservation fee). In the mornings cleaners came knocking on the door every ten minutes, even when we told we're not ready yet. Very, very impolite, especially as when opening the door the cleaner pointed at her watch and told us she needs to clean the room. A "do not disturb" sign was not available. As if we had to apologize for staying at the hotel. If staying in Garda, we'd recommend something else.

    Ancora Hotel is a small, very nice hotel, well worth the price! Situated close to the lake (ca 30 m) we had a magnificent view. The staff were helpful. Fun factor - I don't know, we were there in November, when everything in Garda is very calm...
