Soggiorno Gloria - Florence, Italy

This hostel is really nice! It's very close to the main railway station and in a walk-distance for the other attractions. The bedroom is cleaned everyday, and it's really big and comfy. The breakfast is ok, but don't expect much. But the best part, besides the room is the staff! They are really nice! They give you free maps and instructions on what to see and do and where to eat..my impression is that you have just to ask and if they can, they will help you! So I definetely would come back here!

I liked this guest house for its good disposition (2 min from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station & for its freedom (you can come in and out whenever you want cause you have your own key from the front door). The room was big enough and clean & all the stuff very friendly =)) So, ye, I can advise you to stop here ;))

Excellent location: near the station and near the center. The bedroom and bathroom are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is available in their own rooms.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights, spacious rooms, plenty of room for baggage and stuff, comfy beds and good aircon system has a delight after dying in the heat of Roma previously!! Also in a great location for visiting the attractions as well as being close to the train station. Wifi was a bonus and pretty good. Would definitely come and stay again.

Rooms were big with high ceiling and clean.Hotel is just 5 finutes away from train station by foot and also you can walk every important part of Florence.

Very close to train station. We were given a huge room with a great bathroom. Free internet and a lift were a bonus.

We were in Florence for less than a day. Gloria was easily accessible and within walking distance of all we hoped to see and visit during this brief stay. Our 12 year old grandson was with us and he thought the place was great (enough room to play with his soccer ball). The bathroom appeared to be newly done. We were quite pleased.

Gloria (the male receptionist who has assumed the name of the hotel) is a champ! Did everything he could to make our stay perfect, which it was. Provided extra seating for the balcony and located a spare bottle opener. The room was awesome as well.

This guest house is in a great area, close to the train station and the central market. It is an easy walk to all the major sites. At times the street noise can be loud.

A great place very near to Florence's main station, and right next to the center of the town. We were awarded with a "suite" room with four beds instead of the two we had asked for, as that room was not being used for the time of our staying. The view was fantastic: you could enjoy Brunelleschi's cupola for the Dome. The room was big and comfortable; toilets clean, neat and wide. Little cold during nights, though, and the personnel is not *that* available all the time, even if we didn't have any trouble at all. I advice you to this hostel, cause it meets very high quality/price standards.

This hotel is very near the train station. So its quite easy to find and convenient. It is also a short walk to the old city center and is surrounded by small shops and cafes. The room is clean, big enough with high ceilings, equipped with an elevator, clean sheets, a tv, own keys, biscuits and coffee and tea service in the room. For me, its a nice hostel - not a real hotel because they just have rooms. Breakfast, however, is available nearby for a very reasonable price. My only regret is that its a bit noisy since our room was just beside the main door and we arrived on the night that they were cleaning the street below with a heavy machine. But maybe, my noise tolerance is very low. In general, I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel and staff was nice for price, very clean! Placed in a very good position, so you easily can enjoy Florence! Great town!

i've stayed in florence before and find this place to be a deal. it may not be luxurious, but it is clean plesant and nice...it is also 25 euros cheaper than what i paid for which is next door. if u plan to stay in florence for three days, you can use your savings to eat out. oh, my room came with bath and air conditioning and no view.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff.TV reception wasn't very good, but didn't really go there to enjoy the tele!
