Dublin International Hostel is a former convent boasting superior lodgings with new bunks in all rooms, all bedrooms repainted and redecorated, new flooring in corridors and rooms and new furniture in our restaurant. This major facelift now gives you an even more comfortable stay in the heart of Dublin!
Situated on Mountjoy Street, the hostel is in a prime city centre location within walking distance of Temple Bar, bus and train stations and all the attractions of the city centre. We are the only Dublin hostel that is a member of the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation) and welcomes members from all around the world. In addition our Head Office is located at the back of the hostel, so for onward bookings to one of our other 22 hostels in the An Oige chain, you are welcome to call in for friendly and informative advice about travelling around Ireland.

In the hostel you will find a range of facilities including free secure car parking, key card access to all rooms, games room, currency exchange, laundry facilities and an international booking service that allows you to make bookings in any of the other 5000 IYHF youth hostels worldwide. Open 24 hours, we also serve our guests a free continental breakfast in a fabulous old nun’s chapel converted into our restaurant. The maximum number of nights one can stay is 7 nights. any booking for more than 10 people needs to be made directly Hostelclub's group department, on the left on Website!

    !!!!I have never been to the hostel!!!!! HOSTELCLUB overbook the hostel, there was no room avaliable in the hostel at the time.The staff from the hostel got in contact right away and refunded me. Two days later i got my money back. I never got the surcharge from hostelclub back. I will never book hostelclub again!!!! Go book with hostels.com or hostelworld.com serves way batter

    I thought the staff were quite rude on the main reception desk, not as friendly as the last time i stayed there, very disappointed!

    this is a big place and the personnality of the place is not so good. you can meet many people but you are never alone, and you never get a calm time. its a good place to meet people of all around the world and to discover different culture not just the irish one. the hostel is not so clean, but for a big place like this we cannot wait for more.
