The hotel Katerina and John is located on the island of Santorini. We are in the heart of the beautiful town of Perissa and only a few meters away from the beach. Perissa is known worldwide for its black beaches and sunny days. Our hotel offers you an unforgetable vacation in a very clean and safe enviroment at an economical price.

Beyond the renting of our rooms at our hotel, we also provide Atv, scooter rentals. Matrix, an internet caffe provides you computer access and internet needs. Is located on the hotel premise.

The rooms are spacious and clean, ready to serve from one to six people comfortably. Ameneties can include televisions, kitchenettes, air conditioning, refridgerators and balconies at no additional expense along with useage of our pool (seasonal). There is also free transport provided by John from the ferry port with private room stays. John also will return you to the port with private room stays of three nights or more.

    Located a few minutes from Perissa Beach, there's a bus stop right outside the hostel, and food and grocery store all very near by. A good spot for anyone passing through. Also, pick up and drop off to the port is available which is really nice. Only complaint is that the wifi wasn't very reliable.

    It was really nice, people are great, helpful and you get more than what you pay for, it is clean, and you get free ride from airport or port to hotel,you have nearby everything you need, restaurants, supermarket.... it was great!!

    The hostel is good, but in the middle of nowhere in santorini, tje black beach is like 20 min walk so it's good

    Not clean, bedsheets and towels were washed but stained - even blood stains. Room had not been cleaned properly at all, many broken appliances e.g lights and awful bathroom with broken shower. Staff helpful, arranged pick up & drop off at airport/port for no extra cost. Best thing was having full use of air con.

    Despite a bit of confusion surrounding our pick up at the ferry, this hotel earns the highest praise from me. They made up for my slight inconvenience regarding the confusion, and made our stay very enjoyable. They are welcoming and helpful, and they are CHEAP (as in 'inexpensive'). It's no five-star resort, but that's more than made up for by the laid back, friendly atmosphere, the tidy little resort, and the fantastic prices. For some reason Lonely Planet doesn't mention this place, but it's the best value on the island. Book it!

    Service was amazing, friendly staff, great location. Cheap atv rental and stay, internet easily available and there is a pool at the place. Food was great pretty close to the beach and the bars/restaurant stretch.

    I like the HOTEL KATERINA AND JHON in Santorini Island,Greece. The hostel location is walking distance from black sandy beaches. There is no problem with the transportation public buses operate there everyday and the bus stop in just infront of the hostel. They will also pick you up from the port and airport provided you let them know the time of your arrival and also drop you off to the port or airport of your choice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I enjoy my stay there. They have placed me in a clean and comfortable room that can accommodate three people only with fridge inside the room.     Very very friendly staff, so helpful, friendly and approachable! Very close to the "black" beaches! Great stay!

    The staff was extremely helpful in ever aspect of our stay, they went out of their way to ask us if we needed anything and were just so hospitable and genuinely nice people. The location is very safe and convenient as it is very close to Perissa beach. It was nice to have an internet cafe literally right next door and to be able to rent ATVs to get around the island from John and Katerina's son.

    The price for this place is perfect, but don't expect a lot. THe beds are clean and for the most part so are the bathrooms. It is pretty close to the water and right on main street which is great.

    The hotel is located just next to an internet cafe and bus stop. Very good location. Just a bit far from Fira. However reting a quad bike could have make everything convenient.

    The hotel is really OK. The rooms are clean and the staff provides cleaning service every other day. The place is quite noisy (roads), but there's a bus stop few meters away to go to Thira. 2 mins to the beach is also an advantage.
