About us
An unique experience awaits you together with Berlin’s oldest ballroom, the legendary pub Alt-Berlin, and our hostel. A place with a long history of hosting travelers, a meeting point for the creative, music lovers, culture and history fans alike. Carrying on the tradition of the ballroom downstairs, our theme ranges from the previous Golden 20’s to the upcoming 20’s.

Accommodation
We offer 10 bed dorms, 8 bed dorms, 6 bed dorms, 4 bed dorms (all with shared bathrooms and bunk beds, linen included)
double and triple rooms (shared bathrooms and ensuite, twin beds, loft beds, double beds, linen and towels included)

Services and activities
We have a small tea kitchen with fridge and microwave, water boiling facilities and oven. We got a lounge area at the reception and a quiet area on another floor. We have a large outdoor front yard, a beer garden and pub, we got a ballroom which has events from time to time.

Surroundings
Our hostel is located in the district Mitte, literally meaning 'the middle' and being a contraction of Stadtmitte (city centre), which contains the historical heart of Berlin and represents in many ways the real center of the city. It is here where you will find the vast majority of the most popular sights, museums, and theatres. Fans of history, art, and culture will feel right at home. Right around the corner you’ll find the Naturkundemuseum (Natural History Museum) and Berlin Wall Memorial.

    El hostel muy limpio, personal amable la ubicacion es exelente pero he tenido un problema yo reserve para 2 noches y me cobraron el doble de lo que decia en la página, segun el hostel porque hice doble reserva y eramos 2 personas, y la cuestion es que yo era sola reclame y me dijeron que lo sentian pero a ellos les llega automaticamente y no hacen reembolso.tener en cuenta y mirar bien cuando hagan su reserva

    Hallo, freunde, sie muessen die Betten sofort Ersetzen, die Matratzen und das Stahlgestelle sind abscheuend, erniedrigend fuer Gaeste.. fuer die Grosse Räume gehoeren wirklich wie beim Crist Alexanderplatz schoene Betten mit Schalosien, dann haben sie Vollesprogram mit Gaesten auch wenn die Chekin nicht immer ueber System an der Haustuer klappt. Die Lage ist ja tool nur die Betten und fuer die Gaeste Aufenthaltsreume fehlen und ein wenig Music die es gerne Halaluja singen wollen.. Die 15-20€ wäre dann auch Gerechter..Bettpreis fuer Studenten..
