Avarage as for the States. The hostel itself wa spretty good, but staff was sometimes nice sometimes ind of 'weird'. The worst about the hostel was the thing (but it was maybe just my bad luck) it was full of young ppl in their internship - young docs and other hospital staff - which was so borring. They were all soe "big-headed" so egoistic and sure about their awesomeness that they didnt talk to anybody else, only to those who was also in the internship. You know borring wark-concentrated-almost-conversations - mostly about surgeries, blood, cut hands and so on. If you look friends, awesome stories from the travels - it wasnt the place for that. Also bathroom could be cleaner. And its quite a walk to the metro station. Fortunately on the way there was a grocery shop. If i have to stay there again - i hope there wont be nobody in any way conected to the hospital or medicine there! ;)

We arrived here with the staff being really friendly, however the atmosphere from the other lodgers (long term residents) was not great and we were made to feel we were intruding in their home. Two young girls to then be set with silly rules was not great and to top it off we heard ourselves be slagged off by the cleaner after she threw all our food out. Good price but would not stay here again!

This place was cramped, filthy. Staff are lazy, basically. Kitchen was a mess with greasy counters, cracked dishes, crammed refrig. They make 15k per month but refuse to replace broken toilet seat?

I stayed one night and really enjoyed it there! the staff was very friendly and helpful. very outstanding was the cleanliness! the metro is very close by. there is a supermarkets and groceries nearby if you need anything. i absolutely recommend this hostel.

Nice staff, clean house and comfortable beds. Close to metro and grocery store. Good wirelss connection!! Just like a home you would like to live in.

It's my first time in DC and I had to make a reservation on the spot. I'm quite relieved to have chosen this hostel. Their rates are good and the service is great. Plus it very near the subway station. Only problem I had was that I felt I was the oldest guy in there.

This is simply a wonderful place! Everybody is just so warm and friendly. This hostel is a great place to meet new friends.

I just fell in love with this place (or is it with somebody I met here??) Anyway, the hostel is really nice with great staff. The other guests are also very friendly. I'm definitely coming back. :D

This is very good place to stay! The staff is very helpful and willing to answer all questions and solve problems. We had a great times!

I had a great time staying here. This hostel is much different than most hostels I've ever stayed in. Everyone was friendly and it kind of had the feeling of being home.

Great place! Even though the place was full at the time I was there, I still had a rockin' good time! The guests were getting along with each other, well at least they were in our room. :) Overall, two thumbs up!!

Overall, my experience at this hostel was great! I made new friends with a couple of the other guests there and where continuing with our tour of DC together. I'm definitely coming to this place whenever I'm in DC. Great job, guys! And a special shout-out to Taina! :)

The hostel exceeded all my expectations!!! Great place with young but very professional staff.

We got a pleasant surprise when we got to the hostel. We were expecting some nasty place considering the rate we paid for it. But it turned out to be a charming place. It was really nice, clean and spacious.

This experience was a real treat for me. It was my first time to stay at a hostel and I had low expectations since I've heard how bad it could get with hostels. But this place was just great! Two thumbs way up!

Very good! But there s some issue regarding to AC. Doesnt work in my room, So it takes a long time for me to fall asleep. But I think it s radom happen thing, will not influence my overall appreciation of the hostel.

Definitely an awesome place to stay in DC! We would love to stay until Christmas but unfortunately we have to go. We've had a lot of fun with them.

This is a great place. The staff are very friendly, place is clean, the ambiance is great. The amenities they offer are very useful, like free wifi, computer use, laundry facilities.

Great bunch of people! My sister and I totally enjoyed ourselves! We made new friends with some of the other guests. Great atmosphere and complete service.
