    Mariana's Petit Hotel I found was a fantastic place to stay in Guatamala City. Family-owned and run, it has a unique charm and comfortable atmosphere. It is in a relatively safe part of the city, behind gated security. The staff is absolutely fantastic, welcoming, and helpful, and the owners speak English very well. They were really great in helping me find a few good places to visit as a tourist. It's perhaps a few minutes drive from the airport, making it convenient place to stay if you are new to the city. Overall, a lovely place, I highly recommend!
