Located in the city's downtown, connected to everything. Near from most of cinemas theaters, restaurants, discos, Bus Terminal and Plaza de la Revolucion where is Che Gevara's biggest picture. Havana Hostel Iraida has many facilities on offer. Clean bathroom with hot water 24/7, fridge, lockers, DVD player and kitchen if you need it. Safe area, really easy (15 minutes) and cheap($0.50)to go to the historical part.
Havana Hostel Iraida is a nice and cosy hostel in Vedado. It enjoys a great location, very near to the famous Plaza the la Revolution where is the biggest Che Gevara's picture and Castro used to speaks to the Cubans.

We offer two shared rooms for 3 or 6 persons one with a bunk bed and a double bed and other with three bunk beds, air conditioning, fan, lookers and private bathroom so guests are given absolute privacy.

Our location is right in the heart of cultural attractions and nightlife, just minutes away from Havana University, El Malecon, La Rampa cafeterias, markets and Cinemas.
Just 3 minutes walking from the centric 23 avenue where you can find Cinemas, markets. Cafeterias, banks, etc.

    Super friendly hostel owner Iraida is always helpful and nice. The room is nice and clean as is the bathroom. Though it can get a little crowded if the room is full and the mattresses are very thin. The location is some way from downtown Havana (an hours walk) but this also means it is far more quiet. All in all really nice place.

    Mama Iraida was amazing! There for you when you need anything. She also gave me the hook up on other Casa's in Cuba and they, the place and people, were just as nice as Mama Iraida. I can't reccomend this Casa enough.

    Iraida is a very chill person, the hostel consists of 1 room basically so it's quite quite and it does not have a place for socializing. There is a curfew at 3, but Iraida was nice enough to open us the door at 3:30 in the morning :)

    Hostel Iraida is located in New Havana. It is a quite and save neighbourhood and 100m away from a bank. It is easy and very cheap to get to Old Havana. Down the road you'll find tons of American cars from the 50's which they use as taxi/bus (compare it with the Spanish Dolmus busses. Hop on and off). It is a great experience to drive along with these cars and a real must have for all tourist. The hostel itself is very clean. The host, Iraida, does everything she can to make you feel comfortabel.She doesn't speak English, although she knows the keywords to communicate with you. Her son speaks fluenlty English, so he can translate if he is around. I would highly recommend this hostel and I'm sure I will come back to visit Araida.

    Excellent accommodation at an excellent location (only 15 minute walk to the Malecon and 20 minutes to the CBD). The best feature of Hostel Iraida is the hostess Iraida who was a lovely, trust worthy person.

    I stayed an apartment type room for several times. The owner's son, Alejandro was really kind to tell us lots of info we asked or even we didn't ask. And every time we had to leave really early in the morning(like 3:30), he woke up, took the key and saw us off. Was so nice to use wifi there even it's slow because we couldn't find any other wifi in Cuba.

    it`s a great place to begin or end a trip to Cuba : a friendly place where they will give you the basic keys of the country, where you can easily meet other travelers. good and safe area because people don`t try to get money from you right in front of it.

    i spent here my first few days in cuba, and i think it was the best casa particular i use to stay, becouse here i had oportunity to meet other travelers, unlike in other cp where i had room only for myself. so, i really enjoy meeting all those peoples from different country, seniora iraida and alejandro are very kind, open and helpfull, always willing to give you some advice, tell intresting stories or just chat, i really like it much, although regret speak just a bit spanish (next time i'll improve) what else; good location, quiet neighberhood, great connection with the center, close to shops, paladars, clean. i really cant say bad word about it. if i'll have chance to visit cuba again i'll stay there again for sure. muchos gracias seniora iraida y alejandro! todos bueno!

    The people are fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We got a late flight to Havana and arrived at the property at 1am and they waited up for us. The breakfast was basic but fantastic and well worth the extra few pesos.

    Nice people - Alejandro speaks English ! We can use the kitchen, it's good for longer stays. The place is close to restaurants and theaters, grate location.

    This is such a great hostel - can't recommend it enough. The owners are so friendly and helpful and will really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. It's in a great location where you can see the real Cuba and it feels very safe, particularly walking around the area at night. The rooms are comfy and clean and the bathroom is great too - there is a good shower with hot water and full access to lockers and the kitchen. We also had breakfast here every day (for a cheap price) and it was absolutely delicious. I would really recommend this hostel to all travellers!!
