Khaosan Baan Thai is a small two storey Thai house built with teak wood at the age of 60 years. The house was renovated to a new and charming and safety stay, located in the district of the Old Town.

Within 10 minutes walk to Khaosan Road and walking distance to many tourist attractions, you can easily enjoy your sightseeing to Grand Palace, The temple of Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, The National Museum and many more.

The near by Phra Arthit Pier and Rama8 Bridge Pier make Khaosan Baan Thai an extra point to travel Bangkok by boat along Chao Phraya River.We are close enough to walk to the tourist places and far enough away to feel peaceful. Breezy air from the river will make you fresh and to be lively all day long.

    The place is very good for a cheap price. We stayed in the air conditioned room so it's much better. No irritating noise at night too and no curfew! We also have free breakfast every day, and the staff are just so polite, especially the owner. She speaks in English and entertain our queties with a smile. That counts for something, right? My only concern is its distance from train stations and to the attractions as well. But if you don't mind walking around, this is a good place for travelers tight in budget. :)

    Great hostel for family with children. They have many tipes of room for each type traveller(single,couple,family-children friendly,large group).excellent breakfast.rama th8 bridge as theview. Nearby chaopraya river boat(to visit many famous wats).for moslems,some halal food restaurant offer nearby khaosan,which onyl 10 minutes walk from here.very recommended!!!

    Excellent hostels.from the 4th time go to bangkok,this is the best hostel. Great for family trip(either with babies or with a bunch of related families). Friendly staff. Cozy environment far from crowded but not so far away from many tourist destinations.will come again if visit bangkok.

    The guesthouse is very clean especially the shared shower room. Staffs are friendly. Located in a quiet and safe small alley. Distant walking to Khao San Road (about 10 mins). Room price is reasonable. This is my second stay at this lovely guesthouse. There are some food carts outside sells chicken bbq, noodle soup, fruit which is very cheap and tasty. 7-11 is right at the beginning of the alley. I definitely come back here again.

    This was our second stay at Khaosan Baan Thai - and we enjoyed it just as much as our first stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location - close to the action but far enough to be nice and quiet at night.

    The staff are unbelievably friendly and the rooms are adorable. I would recommend getting a room with Air con because the top floor rooms are incredibly hot. Bathrooms were always clean and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

    Terrific location just 10 minutes walk from busy noisy Khao San Rd, quiet setting off main road. Breakfast is sausage and egg on toast and is delicious. Shared bathrooms extremely clean and always vacant. Staff were friendly with everything we asked. Overall brilliant hostel with authentic homie feel.

    I really loved the Khaosan Baan Thai. The room was fairly bare bones, but clean, with two fans, clean sheets, pillow, and shelves for your things. There was also a rack for hanging clothes to dry, which was really handy. They have a common area with lots of tables where they serve breakfast, offer free tea and coffee, and have snacks for sale. There are books, a television, and wifi, plus computers that you can use if you like. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly, and very helpful. If you want, they can hook you up with tours, cabs, sightseeing, etc. I'm extremely happy with my stay here and would happily use it as a home base again. If you want a clean cheap friendly place to stay, it's perfect. Located on a nice quiet side street only a short distance from Khao San road.
