It is the second time I am staying with you. I love the location and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The Staff of the Hostel is excellent!!
Great spot. Travellers need to be aware that getting there is tricky if you don't read Cyrillic. Directions given depend on which exit of metro you exit from and then the hotel entrance is hidden from view even when 10 metres from it! Worth the stay though.
Great place! The bed was comfy the staff was helpful. The room was quiet. Yes it was a small room, but i came here to see moscow, not hang in a fancy room. The bathroom was clean. The location was perfect! I do ashtabga, ashtanga yoga moscow is a three minute walk from the studio
Great value, great location.
This clean and friendly hotel is perfectly located just off the Arbat. Our double room was nice if a little on the small side, with an impressive fresco on the ceiling. Helpful, English-speaking staff. Overall, recommended!
Only one make up of the room in 5 days. A bit disapointed
very good
Our reservation had been cancelled in error, but the staff quickly rectified the situation, and we got the room we'd requested. The room itself was pretty tight on space, but the high ceilings certainly helped, and we had everything we needed. I also appreciated that some thought had been put into the design (even if it was sometimes crazy, like the leopard skin on the ceiling). Moscow is an expensive city, so this is definitely a good budget option--and the location is fantastic.
Excellent location; clean room on arrival (but they don't touch it again until after you leave). Some guests were noisy when returning late at night. Note that space is extremely small: we had in-room shower and toilet, but toilet was actually in the shower stall.
While we were very happy with the location and the place was clean, we had an issue with the staff. The girl at the front desk arranged a taxi for us to the train station for the night we were to check out. She said it was 800 rubles and we would need to pay her directly. The taxi arrived an hour early, was surly because we weren't ready, and when he dropped us off he claimed he was not paid and that we owed him 500 rubles. We argued that we had paid - more than he was asking - to the hostel. He called around but said there was no money for him. To us it seemed the girl at the desk pocketed the money. Especially since she asked us to pay 300 rubles more than the taxi requested. She was not at the hostel when we checked out.
very good
Very nice hostel on a very good location. Some of the staff were quite rude. Overall nice place to stay.
The Hostel as i used to know it does not exist any longer. They are turning the place into a small hotel called "Bulgakov". We were given beds which were separated by nothing but curtains from the construction site they were standing in. Construction workers were passing day and night and even moved stuff belonging to tourists in order to pour concrete. Despite of a tiny kitchen there is not a single square meter of public space. I used to like the place, but that was my last time.
gooode goode gooooodee! ;-)
The room very old,and seems not secure, the picture in hostel.com is very pretty, but they won't give that type of room for us,not recomand.
very international and multinational! it's more of a hotel though than a proper hostel as they have more private rooms than dorms but still the atmosphere in the common kitchen was always very friendly and family-like and cheerful. enjoyed my stay a lot
the bed is big but the room itself it's too small, staff is really nice and helpful :)
am very certain that not many hotels in moscow can boast of such minimal prices and such nice accomodation. every time i pass thru the capital i book my stay here and haven't been disappointed yet! maybe have just been extremely lucky. or maybe it's just a really nice place to stay? :-)
Absolutely positive experience. Nice rooms, perfect location (5 minutes from Kremlin), helpful staff . Highly recommended. Great value for money.
