Then you look out on the Indian Ocean with your favourite drink in hand, and see dhows sailing by as they have for centuries. The fragrance of the Spice Islands entices you to savour dishes you will never find at home: octopus in coconut sauce, barracuda carpaccio, bananas flambées.
