Great staff, very friendly & welcoming. Ideal location, warm water, overall good hosts. This hostel offers tons of events around cities. Only negative is dirty bathrooms, dirty sheets, & old/uncomfortable mattresses.

I got a new friend. He took me cobblestone. I was very moved by ilish traditional music. I was very surprised that they are amateur musician and they paid their money.

If you are a hostel lover you are gonna enjoy staying here, but if not, stay away, a lil bit noisy and not as clean as I wish, great for young people.

The owner should provide some basic kitchen facilities for guests. The rooms without windows should not be let out at all. There needs to be a common room or living room for guests to congregate and talk (instead of on the stairs/in the hallway). Everything else was excellent, including value for money. Thanks!

I must say what a fab time we had,the guy running the Holyhead was excellent, very friendly and polite,The room ,shower room and toilet were immaculately clean,i cant comment on the fun factor or atmosphere as it wasnt that kind of place,ie not communal. It was my first time in Dublin and it wont be my last, and yes i will be staying at the Holyhead when i next go.
