Chicago: There are many different beautiful sights to see in Chicago during the New Year. People from everywhere come to see the lights of the city. If you plan on going to Chicago during the New Years Eve, here are some great places for you. AWA Chicago City Center Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. It offers the great view of the city’s majestic skyline or the famous Lake Michigan. Guests have the choice to eat a sumptuous meal in one of the nearby restaurants near the place or stay in the hotel and enjoy meal at the Caliterra Bar and Grille. Another great hostel to check out is the Hostelling International Chicago. It is located near one of the most popular cultural attractions of the city, the Millennium Park. Guests can also spend their New Year at one of the near by night clubs of the City or inside the hotel’s sushi club, Aria. After getting booked in one of Chicago’s hotels, its time to go somewhere new! Why not try to go to a concert in the House of Blues, Vic Theatre or the Rivera Theatre and see some famous artists and celebrities as they render songs from different genres. If you’re below 18 these concert places are ones you can usually go to with out needing adult supervision. Besides going to concerts, you can also try something fun and exciting like bowling parties in one of the Brunswick Zone Bowling alleys across Chicago land. Brookfield Zoo is also another great place to visit for family bonding. While spending time with the family in the Brookfield Zoo, Radio Disney provides, music, trivia and prizes and it presents a top 50 song countdown during the evening of the New Year. If you are single and would want to meet new people or have a romantic date with someone new, you can try to go to the Chicago Shakers Social Club. This club is open to all singles of all ages and it offers dinner parties, wine tastings, cooking classes, sport outings and many others held at several different venues. Finally when the night falls and the New Year comes, the best place to be in is at the Navy Pier to see the beautiful fireworks that illuminate the night. These fireworks occur twice during the night at about 8:15pm and at midnight over the lake which gives it a more dramatic feel.
