I didn't saty at the pensão Royal. I arrived one day before and went there to check the place. Lots of stairs, impossible for my age everyday have to use so many stairs. A nice and educated girl showed me the bedroom. Too tiny, so lost one day payment reservation but prefered to cancel.

The people that makes the place, Paula certainly made our stay there first class and it feels just like home at Pensao Royal! With her great and fresh bakery and the endless guide and reminders, our holiday in Lisboa was nothing less than wonderful! Thank you Paula! We'll be back soon!

We leave 6.30 am and there are in that time any breakfast available, so the man in reception make some coffee for us, exellent service. Very helpful staff.

Simple and small rooms, clean and well-maintained. Excellent location on leafy avenue, 5 min walk to Restauradores square. Decent breakfast.

great value, the location although is not in the center is excellent as there are 3 buses and tube to the center (10 minutes)

It would have been nice to add a little more details to the map - like the fact that it goes uphill quite a bit! But it was a very nice guesthouse, would definitely book there again! :)

This hotel is up a very very steep hill. we went with friends their room was ok ours was not it was tiny and the shower was broken off the wall so you had to use it as a hand held on so there was no control of it either hot or cold the toilet seat kept coming off. breakfast was a rip off.one of the good things was the roof were at night you could go and sit .

I'm quite unsatisfied with both the hostel the service that Hostelsclub provided. I made a reservation to AWA Lisbon Hostel Imperial and when I got there I found out that the place was in fact overbooked and that they had no previous knowledge of my reservation. The hostel's owners called to a nearby hostel that luckily had available rooms. However, the owners of the hostel said that they considered that the money I paid in advance as payment for that service of finding me a place to stay... classy. I wrote an email to Hostelsclub explaining the situation and I was told that this is in fact a common practice in this kind of situations, i.e., that the 10% fee is not reimbursed if the hostel's administrators "provide" the client a similarly budgeted place to stay, relegating all responsibility to the hostel's administrators. So both, the hostel and Hostelsclub refused to reimburse money paid in advance for a service that was never given. One more thing: the hostel's address is mislocated in the map.

Good location and a GREAT apartment! Fully equiped kitchen, really nice backyard, washing machine free of charge. Only problem (BIG ONE) was the room we got-with just 1 window, that opened up to a shaft, with the downstairs restaurants ventilationsystem next to the window. No fans in the room, meaning that, even though we got a BIG fan (which we left there), we did not get any sleep for the whole week. The internet was really bad, and they did not fix it when we asked. But in a different room, and not in July-the hostel is perfect!!

we had a great stay there. the personal is really nice and take care of you. it was really clean. nice garden, kitchen with all the furniture you can need. and the mattress was soo comfortable !

Muy buen lugar, el baño estaba algo sucio. Pero lo mas molesto fueron las literas, debido a que al estar arriba, con el mas minimo movimiento, esta sonaba y se movia DEMASIADO, lo que era una molestia para todos ahi
