A city in northern Italy known both for tourism and for industry, and is the capital of the region Veneto.Venice, Italy (Venezia in Italian) is still one of the most fantastic and lovely places in the world. This sanctuary on a lagoon is virtually the same as it was six hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character. Because Venice is on a lagoon, the water plays a crucial role in transportation. The most popular way to approach Venice is by boat or train, there are no cars in Venice and bicycles are not allowed. Don't miss the Rialto Bridge (Italian: Ponte di Rialto) on San Polo and the Rialto market before the Rialto bridge on the left. Venice also have a shopping market for the biggest Italian brands, a stay in Venice is not cheap if you are looking for a room for your own, if you are travelling with a group of friends you can find a hostel with shared room cheaper than 20 euros per person / per day. For label clothing shopping, the best area is that around the Piazza San Marco, where you can find Versace, MaxMara, Gucci, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Prada and numerous more big names. If you are presentable, and you plan to stay in Venice for at least a few weeks, drop into the apartment rentals or hostels. These are usually the minimum budget stay and they offer the cheapest prices.
