In hostels club web the price is 36€. When I did the booking they charged me 5€ in advantage in my debit card and they told to pay the rest in reception:31€. My surprise when in reception they told to pay 36€ instead of 31€. In reception they told that those 5€ extra were for the booking web ( not for them) . Therefore I had to pay 41€ in totol. Not the promised price. You can't call this anything but a scam.

It is close to the west station. The location of the apartment is very good. But it is not in a sightseeing/business/shopping district. So the atmosphere of the district might be boring.

It was dirty and we were meet because the address we had did not match the address on our reservation. The place had no toilet paper. We stayed two nights. The second night we came back and the place had been cleaned, but we had no electricity. We called and he hung up on us. When we called back he said he would send someone over but that never happened. We never did get electricity again.

one of the best hostels I have ever stayed! the place is cool, the dorms are dunny decorated and big enough. the toilet and shower is always clean. you have free coffee or tea and the staff is amazing. they are all so kind! one of them {a guy, I dont know his name} even bought us a typical hungarian chocolate and came the next day to give it to us! he also recommended places to go out and typical dishes. location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the center of the city - deak ter- and few stepsof the metro - ferenciek ter-. I recommend this hostel to everyone who wants to visit budapest and stay in the cheapest and best hostel in the city.
