The hostel is situated in the heart of the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains (Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini) in the area of Fossignano. It stands 1200 meters above sea level, in the lee of the ski resort's facilities (skiing and cross country skiing) and is immersed in a wonderful wood of fir trees. This is ideal territory for trekking , bird watching and seasonal visits. The area also preserves monumental sights of noteworthy interest, such as the romanitic Pieve Church of Saint Maria of the Assumption (La Pieve di Santa Maria Assunta) of 1300 and the Church of Saint Vincent and Anastasio (La Chiesa dei SS. Vincenzo e Anastasio), dating back to 1093. In addition the hostel organises guided tours inside the National Park and it is considered a point of reference for good food and wine connoisseurs.
