It should be B&B, but the so called breakfast was actually nothing. Only istant coffee with frozen(!) milk and some old biscuits. The 'kitchen' has no tap... There are two bathrooms for three rooms, but for some reason the landlord closed one of them in the morning... so we needed to wait long to get in to the other one. This place is only recommended when you just travelling through Bologna and you do not find anything else near to the highway.

Vasco was a charming host, who speaks fair English and I would say is an astute businessman. He was the only staff member, and does not live on the premises. I think some of the rooms are rented to permanent workers. The accommodation was really like a run-down backpackers hostel, with private rooms. I chose Casa Vittoria for my first night in Italy because it was close to Bologna airport, and seemed reasonably priced; however, it was necessary to catch a taxi, as it was not accessible by public transport or airport transfer. One of Vasco's neighbours was quite rude to me when I asked which house was the Casa Vittoria - not a good welcome to Italy... On the positive side, I had a very good night's sleep, which, after flying from Australia, I badly needed! I thoroughly enjoyed the interesting 1.5km walk to the nearest bus stop. The local service station had good food, happy, helpful staff, and impressed me with their patience, as I speak very little Italian. If you have a lot of, or heavy, luggage and rely on public transport don't book this one. Thankfully I travel light!

'In centro, ma in campagna', an ecologically recommendable place. A little bit off the beaten track, 7km to Piazza Maggiore, beyond the Reno. Very good staff, very Situated at a busy Viale, however to the rear, a kind of a farm. In sum, a nice place to stay overnight.

okay, it's easy to find with the directions and map, the bus is only 10 minutes away on foot, the manager is very kind and helpful. is a real bed and breakfas is not a hotel. I'm happy if I go back to bologna

it was really ok. but the biggest problem was the fact that it was terribly cold there. We were in Casa Vittoria in October and dont know why the heating was turned off. It made our night uncomfortable and we woke up ill. What is more, the nearest shop is about 2 km far from the hostel, and without a car is a big problem to ddo the shopping quickly.
